Abstract

Poem about the crimes and sentence of Friedrich Cörper, a 31 year-old bottlemaker's apprentice. During a robbery, he committed two murders for which he was found guilty, according to the Criminal Code, part I, articles 146 and 147, no. 4, and sentenced to death by beheading with the stipulation that he first be put on display in the pillory for 30 minutes. Includes information on Cörper's prior crimes and sentences as well as information provided by his robbery accomplice.
