Abstract

Details of the premeditated murder and robbery of Barbara Rotenwörer by Jakob Althammer, who had once worked for the victim's husband. Althammer was arrested and confessed to the crime. He was convicted of murder, according to Article 146 and 147, No. 6, Part I of the Criminal Code, and condemned death with the specification that he be put on display in the pillory 30 minutes before execution.
