Abstract

The case of the two brothers, Hans and Christen Wandfluh, who beat to death their brother Johannes then robbed him. They were jealous of him and wanted revenge because they felt he had received an unfairly greater inheritance than they. Includes information on the post-mortem examination of the cadaver. The brothers were sentenced to be strangled, broken on the wheel, then their corpses were to be braided through the wheel and left on display until evening at which time they were to be buried on that same spot. Poetic synopsis in conclusion.
