Abstract

Anna Roth hired Georg Maul to murder her elderly husband, Johann Leykauf, so that she might marry Georg Roth. Anna told Maul where he might find her husband as he traveled to a mill in another town. Maul attacked and beat Laykauf to death. Maul was sentenced to death. Ann Roth was sentenced to observe Maul's execution then serve 10 years in prison.
