Joseph N. is sentenced to be broken by the wheel for the crimes of murder and highway robbery which he committed with his brother, Mathias. They robbed and physically mistreated two Jewish men (Joseph Mayer and Michael Jakob Haas) and also murdered a court employee. Includes details of Joseph N.'s poor military service and 2 desertions.
