"Wohlverdientes Todesurtheil des Mathias N. welcher auf höchste Anbefehlung des Churfürstl. hochlöbl. Hofraths allhier in München heute, den 14ten Jäner 1791, wegen seinen einbekennt Strassen- und Kirchenräuberisch- dann andern diebischen Verbrechen zur Richtstadt geführt, und durch den Scharfrichter mit dem Rade von oben herab mittelst Anlegung der Schnur durch Zerstossung seiner Glieder vom Leben zum Tod hingerichtet worden. Abstract

Gives information on the crimes and sentence of Mathias N., 35 or 36, a married, Catholic, father of one child. He confessed that he and accomplices planned break-ins at several churches from which they stole valuable items, some containing relics. He was found guilty of other thefts as well. Items taken ranged from a horse and saddle to pillows. Mathias N. was condemned to be broken at the wheel from the top down.
